Join us for a nourishing, healing, and relaxing restorative yoga with therapeutic massage practice that integrates locally sourced CBD salve application and optional CBD tea and/or tincture. After an introduction to the benefits of CBD in natural healing, Katie Johnson will guide you through restorative yoga asanas while licensed therapist Stephanie Hupp offers hands-on massage encouraging you to go deeper.
This practice takes us deeper into the subtle body following the map of the Koshas - layers of consciousness - from physical body to breath, emotional, intuitive, and bliss bodies. We will begin in healing Pranams, connect with the breath and mental consciousness with pranayama and mantra, and rise into the subtle realms of ritual space in restorative yoga and meditation - enhanced by therapeutic massage and the stress reducing, anti-anxiety properties of hemp based CBD.
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is derived from the hemp plant and has been employed for hundreds of years for its medicinal properties and was historically used as a sustainable textile and is one of the oldest recorded farmed and domesticated plants in human history. CBD in its therapeutic use can assist in a spectrum of healing benefit including pain management, treatment of PTSD, stress, and sleep loss or insomnia. Industrial hemp does not contain the psychoactive substance THC.

We also recommend not taking CBD tincture on an empty stomach as the coconut oil can cause some upset which can be avoided by eating something light before class :)
